About the event

The speakers are regular homeowners who have invaluable first-hand experience with cold climate heat pumps. They'll be talking about:

  • Winter comfort with a cold climate heat pump

  • Getting money back through rebates

  • Finding trustworthy contractors

  • Improving their indoor air quality

  • Using community connections to boost climate action

Replacing your gas furnace with a cold climate heat pump is one of the most meaningful one-time climate actions you can take – this single project can reduce your home's carbon pollution by up to 80% and remove a significant source of indoor air pollutants.

This will be an outdoor walking tour (rain or shine). Total distance is just over a kilometer with regular breaks for short chats with homeowners.  Please meet on the sidewalk in front of 4 Queen Victoria Ave for 6:00pm — Donlands is the nearest subway station — and bring a reusable thermos or mug for your cider 😊

The  East End Heat Pump Crawl is presented by the Pocket Change Project & the Toronto Home Energy Network.
