Heat Pumps + Condos: How To Get Your Condo Board On Board
Getting your condo board to act on sustainability is one of the hardest parts of condo living. This webinar is for sustainability-minded Toronto condo owners who want their building to be part of the climate solution.
Time & Location
Jun 29, 2026, 6:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.

About the event
Many Toronto condo owners want to see their building be part of the environmental solution. But so many decision makers are involved in condos—getting the board to agree to invest in sustainability improvements takes real strategy.
If you're intimidated by condo politics or if you feel like you're being brushed off at condo board meetings, this webinar will cover how Sustainable Building Canada's award-winning Better Condos Bootcamp can move your building forward.
The Bootcamp, funded by The Atmospheric Fund, invites the whole team—unit owners, board members, the condo manager, and their consultants—to attend together. Over the course of the Bootcamp, attendees hear from:
The City of Toronto on what's coming next for buildings like theirs.
Legal and real estate experts on the risks of not updating the building.
An architect on what a climate-resilient building actually looks like.
A panel of people with firsthand experience decarbonizing a condo.
Did we mention the Bootcamp is totally free? And that lunch and coffee are included? You can bring as many members of your condo's team as you want.
If your condo is ready to start figuring out its path forward, join the webinar to see if the bootcamp is a good fit for you and your condo's team. There will be a Q&A at the end! Bring your tricky questions. The webinar will be recorded and added to Toronto Home Energy Network's YouTube page.
‼️(Condo Managers that attend with their condo team receive 5 out of their 10 CMRAO continuation education credits!).
About the Speakers:
Roya Khaleeli Keon will walk attendees through why condos face such a unique challenge on the path to decarbonization — and why the Better Condos workshop exists to meet that challenge head-on. Roya is Vice-Chair of Sustainable Buildings Canada and has been in the sustainability space with a focus on residential real estate for almost 20 years. She's worked on both new construction and existing buildings with large corporations. We're pumped to have Roya join as our expert speaker!
Toronto Home Energy Network helps Torontonians navigate the switch to heat pumps with expert guides and community support. Our most popular guide is the free Your First Heat Pump Guidebook, which calls out installation speed bumps, incentives, and gives you real prices from projects in Toronto. Heat Pump Parties, run by our amazing Partner Communities, are a great way to get community support on your project.
