Seaton Village Green Neighbours

Seaton Village Green Neighbours (SVGN) is a community-based group dedicated to helping homeowners make their houses healthier and more comfortable, less dependent on polluting fossil fuels, and more resilient to the changing climate.

Running north and west from the intersection of Bathurst and Bloor Streets, the compact family-oriented neighbourhood of Seaton Village is the epitome of the 15-minute city with a strong sense of community and historic homes dating back to the 1880s.

SVGN is a partner community of the Toronto Home Energy Network and benefits from the support of the Seaton Village Residents’ Association.

About

Get Involved

Here are some ways you can join us:
Become a volunteer

Introduce yourself in the Contact Us section! SVGN  is looking for help setting up their technical backend (email, shared drive, etc.) and for hosts to show off their home upgrades.

Update your home!

The most meaningful way to reduce your emissions is to cut fossil fuel use in your home. Switching from a furnace to a heat pump accomplishes that. Check out the Case Studies page for inspiration and to learn more.

Upcoming Events

SVGN is hosting a community forum at the Palmerston Library on Thursday, May 28, starting at 6:30 pm. At Axe The Gas: Electrify Your Home⚡ you'll learn how to make your home healthier, more comfortable, and less dependent on polluting fossil fuels!
